Finally finished my barrel. Breech loaded, multi sleeved. Tested to 140psi so far then I broke my qev.... "don't ask".... I hate myself right now!!! $100 in the bin...
6mmx8mm Easton arrow 1916 is the arrow size to look for, 8mmx10mm alum sections one for the slide cover and a gap 40mm before second sleeve to muzzle then 10mmx12mm sleeve. Dremeled the holes by hand.. hence the hack job. Is just prototype to test ideas.

- I did have a bolt but worked out a simple mag feed repeater so it had to go for now.
-

- I made the center sliding tube longer to help seal.. air loss is near zero.
-

- From push connect to barrel tip is 2,1/2 A4 pages (didn't have tape handy)
-

- Trigger leaked above 140psi which let tiny amount of air escape through exhaust/barrel. Only noticed it when I put the barrlel on, thinking it was qev I tried inserting a spring ( a much to firm one) when I tried to get it out I destroyed the thread :( welding it shut/useless

- All to be housed between timber,

- Another fitting on the end for a....

- All hand dremeled.

How much, is that how much you pay for a qev.
The next part of my build is a barrel and bolt set up I like how your done the internal slider I might try and incorporate it in to my design.
Nice work a shame you hit a glitch.

What your looking at there won't see much change from $100 aus. Paid $50 for qev.. full retail from quality pneaumatics shop in qld... near my house

I paid a bit extra for quality parts in the hope I would save on hospital bills or having to pay for my own funeral.. now if only I'd used liquid sealant instead of 4500psi epoxy I'd be able to salvage the parts

Good excuse for shopping spree... mmm qev's, 3-way valves, push con, high pressure shradder valves, supressors. Its like a frikin candy store all in little see through draws on the walls.... weeeeee

Just checked prices, qev was only $30aus and 3way valve is $60. My cheap ass trigger leaked above 140psi so hoping the three way will sort that out plus give me semi auto.. wait till you see my mag feed. Its so stupidly simple I almost shat while I was making it (tried soooo many different ideas) didn't want any air wasted up the mag or balls being pushed over holes. I could patent it and sell to airsoft... lol or just share the evil joy of a plan that works..

I have a three way on mine mainly because I like the idea of getting semi auto its just rigging the feed that's the issue.
Mag, feed, bolt and air tight are 4 things that are rattling my mind and build so far.

Yeah found some cheaper ones! Plus re-made the barrel, slide cover will work with repeater mag feed. The 3way is a roller bearing type. Pre sprung modable trigger.[
