Tennis balls, that is.
This is a box of 50 Tennis balls that I bought off of EBAY. There are literally thousands out there, and some can be bought really cheaply, with free shipping if you look around.
They're cheaper than potatoes, and reusable.

I'd much rather shoot tennis balls than potatoes. In fact, potatoes is a horrible ammo. Gunks up the gun!

you've got fluffy balls you know
I wonder how that affects aerodynamics - from what I've read
bald tennis balls spin a lot more than fluffy ones. Though if that's caused by air resistance doesn't that imply that there is more drag and they are less than optimal

unless we stop them now

Bald?
leave me out of this please...
I've heard the fluff is added to cause drag and grip intentionally.
Without it a tennisplayer would have less control over the trajectory.
Playing tennis with a tater sucks.
They stopped doing that all together.
Although it did lead to the invention of French fries.

Friend of mine once did that at school with a tennis racquet and an apple... It worked surprisingly well... Perfect apple fries
We also tried it against a fence with the same effect:

This is *exactly* why I'm leaving Europe. What remains an insane idea here becomes a feasible possibility in North America

I watched the video and thought what a slow cannon, until I saw the launcher. Not bad for that style launcher.

Let's face it Brian, no matter how short you cut your barrels, Europe is not big enough for the two of us
