Wow those people have nothing on me and my family. Put together we have over 30 guns. I personaly have 5. Most of which look like sniper rifle from the movies. Right now I have access to 2 of my guns with the ammunition needed to fire them all withen arms reach of my computer.
But really there are people out there who see gun owners either as murderers or terrorist. To proove this the last time we went to the airport and they opened up our gun case some smart ass in line saw our AK-47 and my remington 700 sps (the sniper) and said "Oh I feel real safe now". That just set me off! I told that guy "Hey smart guy mind your own buisness! None of this concerns you! Just because we own guns doesnt mean we use them irresponsibly. Now if you would please keep you mouth shut we will be on our way."
That really made me angry.

Exactly, when people get addicted to drugs they will stop at nothing to get those drugs, even if it includes killing someone. Also, drug dealers kill other drug dealers so that they can make more money, so the real solution to stopping gun related crime is to tighten laws against drugs.hubb017 wrote:Actually, drugs and violence are related by one thing: Money. Marijuana isn't that bad of a drug but it does lead to other types. That is why it is sometimes called "the gateway drug." Once people are hooked on the more dangerous drugs such as cocaine and meth, they become so infatuated with them that they don't care how they can supply their habit. That's when the violence comes in. They begin to rob and kill for the sole purpose of supplying their habit.
Also, most of these dangerous drugs alter one's perception to the point that they may not know what they are doing, or they just don't care. They become aggressive and the smallest thing can set them off. I don't feel that people commit violent crimes just because it's easy. Although, it would be much harder for them to commit these violent crimes if more good, sane people were packing heat.
or to leagilize and tax them, thus eliminating the need for a black market and elimintating the chance for bad people to make a profit, same reason guns should be readilly available legally. making something illegal does not stop it, it jsut makes it more expensive and slightly harder to get, quite often this involves dealing with less than desirable people. if i wanted to, i could get a modified mac-10 without serials for less than $300.
in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08

nothings illegal if ya dont get caught!
as long as you dont go around shooting peoples possessions or cars, nobody will have any reason to call the cops or hassle you. unless you jsut have another neighbor who hates your guts, then you might have a problem on your hands

Okay. Just thought you might want to know... I'd still watch it, but you obviously seem to know what's going on better than I do

That was truely interesting, i have had alot of experience with firearms through my father who has an entire safe full of them. Besides the obvious defense purposes firarms can provide an exceedingly entertaining hobby. This movie shows something i have always noticed when going to the local gun store with my father. Despite the stereotypes of gun owners being rednecks or violent people, i meat more friendly people at the gun store. EVERYONE there is friendly, smart, and nothing like the stereotypes you see. The day my dad bought me my first shotgun (a wonderfull semi-auto 20 guage remington 1100) the owner of the store said i could have a free crate of clay targets if i could carry them out of the store (i was like 10).

Since they work similarly, with relatively low pressure as compared to a real gun, I'd imagine that any laws or lack thereof would apply to any type of spudgun that is not comparable in pressure to a real gun.
Not in Australia NSW... In the prohibited weapons legislation it states:
" Any device that is designed to propel or launch a bomb, grenade, rocket or missile by any means other than by means of an explosive, including a device known as a PVC cannon."
" Any device that is designed to propel or launch a bomb, grenade, rocket or missile by any means other than by means of an explosive, including a device known as a PVC cannon."

What if you aren't propelling a bomb, grenade, rocket, or missile? I don't quite think that a potato classifys as any of those four.Marco321 wrote:Not in Australia NSW... In the prohibited weapons legislation it states:

Yeah i see, but the definition of a missile from dictionary.com is "an object or weapon for throwing, hurling, or shooting, as a stone, bullet, or arrow."Modderxtrordanare wrote:What if you aren't propelling a bomb, grenade, rocket, or missile?
