I want one! I'm all outta money right now though, I just put another $150 into my gun. Overall, I've spent about $550 on stuff for it like my tank, my hopper, my virtue board, and my barrel.
Agree about the halo thing, not completely about the Qloader... it has its advantages ... but also some big disadvantages... capacity, breaking thin shell paint(nice paint), and price are all disadvantages)DEMON( wrote:You just made yourself seem like a complete idiot to anyone who knows a thing about paintball.Kidding me? You don't need either. You'd be good with a Revvy. But if you must, get a Halo B. Q Loaders aren't worth crap
Lets look at stengths and weaknesses here people. Qloader is awesome, it reduces your profile greatly and can feed even if you are upside down. It is also mechanical, no electrics. Downside is it only holds 100 rounds at a time, so your super fast gun will eat the paint very quickly. Also, the rounds in the actual tube can only be fed into the marker if there is a pod forcing more paintballs into the marker, otherwize they are stuck in the tube.
HaloB is a very good hopper, exellent for speedball. A good speedball player won't be sticking his hopper out anyway, so profile isn't that important. It is also more than double the capacity of the qloader and will feed every last ball. Very good stand alone forcefeeder. Cheap second hand, easy to get replacement parts too. DON'T mess with agitators, you are only wasting your money.
Im gunna buy a new hopper as soon as i get the cash... hopefuly i get my gun sold... Im looking to get a Vlocity with Gangstar chip. Or a pulse with Rf... leaning towards the vlocity with gangstar[/quote]

Noice. What guns do you have PVC? (other than the A-5)
i love how much money you guys have that i dont, i have a $30 quantum viewloader and a 5 year old spyder flash. im praying that i can get like $50 for it on ebay becasue im buying a spyder electra with eyes off of my friend for 70 bucks, and ill probably get a halo b. i actually love speedball so much more than woodsball, i use so much less paint because the place i go, the people all suck, so i can go thru a game of speedball unscathed and shoot maybe 50 balls. what do you guys think of the electra, i think its a pretty nice gun, especially becasue it comes stock with the rocking trigger, 30bps. the only issue with that is that is on a simulation, no human can actually get that high wihtout ramping, what a beautiful thing..................
in the upcoming presidential election, there will be several candidates who will be running, one of whom is Hillary Clinton. Now WAIT A SECOND!!! I though there was some sort of rule that prevented someone from serving more than two terms in office. Vote Against Hillary: Presidential Elections 08
Its a perfect gun for that price range... Dont even get a halo... Just get an Eggy 3... you will be set... if you get a halo go to PBnation... you can get them mad cheap.
I wouldnt say its always a money thing... alot of the time its what you dedicate your self to... Alota people spend alot on cars, alot of use spend alot on Spudguns, alot on clothing, alot on computers. Some of us choose paintball and spend alot on that.
Paintball to me is a competitive sport less then it is just somthing i do from time to time so spending money on it does not bug me at all. I actualy enjoy it.

I’m sorry guys but I have to admit, in my little world I’m finding it amusing that majority of the spudders here, if they play PB, are speedballers. BUT the use of a spud gun in PB would be only viable in woodsball, extremely ironic.
Back on topic; for me at least. I have witnessed superb results with the Qloader, but if speedball is your thing, go with a traditional hopper.

I play both... I play on a team for scenerio ball and a team for speedball.
They both have there quirks for me
Yea qloaders are nice... dont get me wrong... they just arent the next super hopper.. there good on guns like SP8's and A5's and the Qbow. Not Egos Dm7's and Shockers.

I really don't have that much money at all, half of it is from my parents; money I've gotten as gifts over the years, but the rest of it is from me. Being I'm 14, I'm allowed to aquire a work permit, so now I make about $250-$300/mo. , including the two lawns I have to mow for $20 each. The best part about all of this: NO TAXES!

I love the look of the Q-loader on a Tippmann Custom Pro. I'd say go with the q-loader because it looks cooler

what is ramping? i have a victor with a 20 oz co2, polished internals and a 14inch smart parts progresive. started moddint the trigger today maybe i can get 5 bps out of it instead of 4
Ramping is when your gun shoots faster then you pull the trigger.
