Well why I have a truck is because I push sprint cars at my local race track, and it is easier to haul your spud gun. :) I also use my truck to go camping in the mountains in places were cars can't go thanks to the 4 wheel drive, and I haul my drag car too which is a 1980 Camaro Z28. I would love to own a skyline but I can't afford one, I have always had a thing for Nissan's due to my first car which was a 1980 Datsun 240Z it had an SR20DET in it, which was quite a bit of work though. I miss my car. :(

Yeah that datto's pretty sweet!
I reckon you've got the right idea ArcticWolf; have something f'ing fast, as well as something that can handle the 'rough stuff'!

by the way, Skylines are actually really cheap; well at least R31s like mine are, but I guess you'd be more into at least an R32.

Yea that was my old car. I don't have it no more :( drag racing can be dangerus and a rouge drag racer at the track busted a tie rod end, cut into my lane and I had no chance in the world to stop. If the track didn't have a fence on the side's I would have took to the field but I hit him instead. It was scary but we both walked away at a 110 mph that was Pure luck. Stupid Honda's, the other guy had a Honda CRX. And yea you are right I do like the R32 GTR but skylines are hard to come by in america. And I have a chance to start over on my Datsun/Nissan which is a 1985 Nissan 300ZX the guy don't want to much for it but he won't come off of it yet but It's mine when he sells it.

Yea I started with a 1993 Pontian POS, er, I mean Grand Am... Moved up to a 2003 Chevy Silverado longbed not too long ago, they are quite useful for hauling spudguns and stuff, especially when your cannon is 8 1/2 feet long.

Get an HSV Maloo R8, this way you've covered both bases; they are bloody quick....and a ute, so you can still haul stuff!
EDIT: in actual fact they are the world's fastest ute I just realised; beating the Dodge Ram's SRT-10 top speed record, easily!
See, us Aussie can do some things by ourselves!!!

Yea, That would work just wish that they were available in the usa. That's why I wish I was back home in Sydney, the best 8 years that I had in my hole life. I like the wheels they make it stand out in the crowd so to speak. Aussie born but living in the usa thanks to my bloody parent's.
