Thanks for the compliments! Yes, the car is milled between the front wheels, on the sides of the chamber, sides of the car, and the bottom.

could you make your own firing system? Such as a gun hammer pin kind of thing so that when released the hamer strikes the can thus puncturing it, or would this not rate to the speed of commercially bought ones?

Im thinking of making one of these at home, it would be better to go as light as you can within reason aye?

oh and do you know where on the net i can get cheap c02 canisters, like in bulk or something?

I'm not sure if you could make your own firing system, but im sure they cost $1300 for a reason. :wink:
The average requirement for a co2 car with wheels and axles is 50-60grams, so try for that.
