Velocity, you can tell that was an extremely awkward moment for those Officers.

i was successful today, i went off roading in my dads truck yesterday and noticed a water hole probally 20 feet long its looked like to boat launches back to back, and i know in the summer its usually about 2 feet of water, we not now considering its winter and it recently rained the past two days, so this mourning i decided to go back and try since i wimped out yesterday, i went through the water it was alot deeper then i thought , the water was 8 inches about the foot step outside of the truck, and i continued through,, i rolled the window down and put my hand outside the window and could feel water, im glad the truck didnt stall or shit the bed, and also glad nothing is wrong with the truck,

and im also glad i didnt get stuck, what an adventure, im sure ill go through alot deeper as i find them :D :D :D :D :D

Am I the only one here that thinks that "2011 Double Barrel" thing is just a bit of a bad idea? What happens if you have a hang-fire? Does it extract, so you have a primer-struck cartridge spinning through the air to blow brass shrapnel everywhere when it goes off?

It's like those fantasy knives you see at truckstops, with barbs and hooks and spider-web blades and Freddy Kreuger claws. It's completely useless except as a wall-hanger, but costs 10 times as much as anything you can actually use in the real world... I mean, for a fraction of the cost, I could buy a Wilson frame and mechanism, and outfit it with a .460 Rowland conversion barrel and springs. And there you are, the same hitting power as a .44 Magnum, in a gun with LESS felt recoil than a normal 1911...

On another topic, it was so nice around here on Wednesday, I had to drag out my RC truck and head out to do some hillclimbing...

No doubt about it... but it's one of those "so bad it's good" things, I'm sure they'll sell a few and we'll see it in a couple of movies :D

nice truck btw, the power to weight ratio on those things always amazes me.

edit: those nutty russians... http://www.yaplakal.com/forum2/st/0/topic411405.html

Subject: Fw: 4th marriage

The local news station was interviewing an
80-year-old lady because she had just gotten married for the fourth
time.

The interviewer asked her questions about her life, about what it
felt like to be marrying again at 80, and then about her new
husband's occupation.

"He's a funeral director," she answered.

"Interesting," the newsman thought.

He then asked her if she wouldn't mind telling him a little about
her first three husbands and what they did for a living.

She paused for a few moments, needing time to reflect on all those
years.

After a short time, a smile came to her face and she answered
proudly, explaining that she had first married a banker when she
was in her 20's, then a circus ringmaster when in her 40's, and a
preacher when in her 60's, and now - in her 80's - a funeral
director

The interviewer looked at her, quite astonished, and asked why she
had married four men with such diverse careers.

(wait for it)

She smiled and explained, "I married
one for the money,
two for the show,
three to get ready,
and four to go."
