That is freakin awesome
There are other videos, and they make other things glow. I'd like to test a few possibilities, like just the baking soda and peroxide together. Different weak acids in place of the Dew...

yes I do also believe that this was on here already and was proved fake. But some people got it to work if I remember correctly.

They come in all different sizes. I remember a glowing tomato, but not the mountain dew bottel.

The mountain dew is proved fake as far as I can remember, but the tomato was indeed true.
Both the mountain dew and glowing tomato are fake.
The glowing tomato would work if you had a source of pure phosphorous. The youtubs posts claim you can use strike anywhere or strike on box matches for the phosphorous but it doesn't work as advertised.
For the mountain dew, they probably just dumped a spent glowstick in the dew bottle. Adding the peroxide rejuvinates the glow stick chemicals.
