Hi all, I just thought I would start a thread for everyone to showcase thier guitars/bass guitar. I'll start I've got a Peavy Millenium bxp Bass guitar, It's mostly for when I play jazz, but I play some classic rock with it (RUSH). My other bass is a Schector Diamond series SB-1 bass, which is red, that I use for classic rock and a little metal. Below are pics.

I tried to learn acoustic guitar at one point, but I never got that far with it - but I suppose you meant only electric anyway.
It's not entirely on topic, but if you're interested... in addition to the guitar, I also tried to learn the piano, but what I learnt best was the trumpet - got quite good at it when I was at my peak. I also learnt the chromatic harmonica at one point, but that's hardly an instrument you brag about being able to play, because most people don't take it that seriously.

Music is something I no longer really do, but I wonder if I should have continued. These days I draw instead, the tools are a little more portable (well, the harmonica was more portable than my drawing stuff, but as I said, most people think it's a bit of a joke) and you can carry your work with you.

To a certain extent. My poor timekeeping meant I kept missing lessons at school, and that wasn't a good start.
I still play the various instruments occasionally, but not often.

I can believe Scarified is a quite serious challenge - but at least you're not trying to play something like Dragonforce, or Canon Rock.

I'd take Dragonforce, Racer X or Cannon Rock anyday over anything by Buckethead, in particular Soothslayer and Nottingham lace. :D

My brother plays guitar, has some Epiphone Les Paul and a bunch of effects pedals. I've learned a lot about guitar from him, but I can't play sh|t :P

Oh and of course, my favourite guitar and guitarist:

HA! Are you kidding me

It's Randy Rhoads from Quiet Riot and Ozzy Osbourne. Just a tad heavier then Twisted Sister

I've been playing guitar since Christmas 2007. I'm heavy into Led Zeppelin, Canned Heat, Black Sabbath, a lot of the 60's and 70's blues or metal. I also have interests in the delta blues of the early 1900's.

I play a cigar box guitar I made. I highly recomend the blues fans build a cigar box guitar...they sound amazing for that bluesy sound

Here's a link to my main guitar http://www.hamerguitars.com/newsletters ... rab_sm.jpg

I also play a Squier Strat tuned to open G. I mostly do slide guitar on it.

I use a 25 watt Fender amp.

Ah I can't stand Dragonforce, they're like Helloween's bad side, except every song.

Edit:
Just realised they were Helloween's supporting band once

Same here, I hate them with passion. (they might be bearable if they got a half-way decent singer though...)
