Bullshit.
They sell flat-top adjustable piston mods that supposedly have gotten people up to around 900 feet per second. Look into that on the Crosman airgun forums.

Yeah I only pumped it up 24 times once. I am planning on getting the stock and a red dot for my gun. I have looked on several sites that sell performance parts but I want to keep this fairly cheap. Another interesting thing I found were silencers. Do you think a silencer would be effective?

No, a silencer won't do much. I own a 1377 and if your'e looking for more "punch" upgrade to a .22 barrel, thats what I did. the devastation that the round does increased significantly. Btw, what were the preformance parts sites you saw?
edit: two red stars!

Friend, your at the wrong forum, well this is a pneumatic projectile relocating device, it’s not a spudgun.
Ask the guys at Crossman Airgun Forum, they’ll answer your questions, if you ask ‘em nice enough that might even spoon feed you.

Okay sorry to bring up an old topic but finally I have figured what I will probably do, just looking for your thoughts. I will convert my 1377 to a .22 caliber using crosman part #2240SBPK which is a .22 breech and I have a 14.6 inch .22 barrel from my 2250xt. Is there anything else you could think of that I would need.

You'll have to drill out the front sight/barrel band to 7/16" so that the barrel can pass through.
Or; (If you plan to mount a scope.)
Order a barrel band and screw for a 2289. (FYI..There is no front sight on this one.)
Barrel band part # 788 B011
Screw part# 781 A012
What happened to the 2250, and what are you doing with it?
The stock from the 2250 should fit the 1377 as well.
