Try them out and tell me how you feel now..

1. How to hook up L.E.D.'s
This is a calculator that you tell the system how bright you want the L.E.D. by inputing the (MA) value.. (miliamp) and what your power source is (voltage) and what power your L.E.D. needs to be lit up.. Then how many L.E.D.s you plan to use.. and this will tell you what resister and show you a picture of it.. so that you know what it looks like when selecting one to add to your experiment.

cool, nice job posting all the sites into one topic. very convenient.

suggestion: If you aren't short on time, it would probably be nice if you could link the addresses to the sites. it would help out that much more.

again, nice job!

Heh, this is great stuff. I learned mostly through the internet before I started being taught formally, so I definitely can say from experience, I approve!

Do you think mabye www.powerlabs.org should be on there for good measure?

Look at this!
Howstuffworks website wrote:At the touch of a button, an explosion hurls a projectile hundreds of feet at close to 400 miles (643.7 km) per hour, obliterating a target [source: Burnt Latke].
400 miles an hour? Really, well then there is an obvious mistake.

After doing simple calculation, i concluded that using an average of 300 fps for a metered propane combustion cannon, (converting to hours by multiplying 300 * 60 * 60 then divide the product by 5,280 and that gets 204.5 miles per hour) i got that the speed is actually 204 mph, which is a big difference compared to 400 mph.

But they said this info was taken from burnt latke? I'm sure that there wouldnt be wrong info (but we all do make mistakes)

Yes i know there are guns that can achieve that speed (SCTBDC)sp?) but that is not available to the common public.

So yet again we have misleading information. Anyone else concur?
