I use the IMG button on the toolbar at the top of the post area. You press it before you enter the URL then again after so that way it closes the tags like this [img]URL[/img]

You have to have the URL to the picture inside the quotes in the code, the little blue line is comming up becuase it's looking for nothing and just shows up as blank.

Why don't you just use the uploader on here? Much easier, faster, and more reliable, and it's right under where you type a new thread/post (not the quick reply, when you actually click to reply/post).

The reason some of you have large pictures (in terms of KB) is because you do not resize your pictures! When they come off your camera they are thousands of pixels tall and wide, and the most they need to be for here is 640x480. Any software even Paint can resize images, in Paint you have to open it up and hit Image, then Stretch and Skew. Try maybe 50% of the size. Then always save as a JPG or if it's say a paint drawing, a GIF.

dragon you almost have it, that is the page for the image. You need to right click on that image and hit protertires and use the URL for it.
BTW we use HTML for images here not [IMG] tags, so
< img src="http://tinypic.com/oqvi1e.jpg" > (without the extra spaces) turns into
<img src="http://tinypic.com/oqvi1e.jpg">

Also for my uploader yes you can upload more than 1, you just browse for one, put a description and hit Upload and when it's done another box shows up to upload more.
