"Gammon is from an Old Northern French word "Gambe" for hind- leg of the pig or ham. However, if one wants a whole ham then a ham is ordered, if one wants part of the ham (usually boned and rolled or cut into steaks) that portion of the ham is usually called Gammon."

Christ wasn't a Vegetarian.
I didn't know they celebrated Easter in Soviet Russia.
What happened to the "Soviet Union" ? Are they two seperate entities?
So, you have carnivorous pigs there that roam around freely devouring people?
Maybe you should come to the aid of your countrymen and become a meat eater and go stock your freezer like a good ol' boy would!

and the "in Soviet Russia" jokes are from a neat comedian named Yakov Smirnoff.
As for the Russia/Union part...I really dont know...I'm not russian nor do I plan on ever being one...I figure that its something I can get thru life without knowing.
And anyways...while all the good ol' boys are out getting eaten by the wild pigs, while they try to get them into the freezer, I'll be laughing at them...for a long, long time.

I never figured you to be Jewish , my mother,G-d rest her, was also Jewish . You have an interesting sense of humor as well as an equally interesting take on Christ, do you lean towards Orthidox?
Y. Smirnoff, is he real or is that a vodka that makes everything funny?

So, knowing my Mother was Jewish, you (zvallance1) realize of course what that means to the blood-line...right?
NO offense inffered here.
You can ruminate on that.
If needed,I'll extrapellate.

Well thanks, i aprecciate the comment about my sense of humor (hoping its a compliment, anyways lol), and sorry to hear about your mother.feral_patriot wrote:I never figured you to be Jewish , my mother,G-d rest her, was also Jewish . As for my religious views, my family and I consider ourselves to be the "observing jews" who just sit back and watch the observant jews who strictly follow the torah and such...So I guess, if anything, I'm a reform jew (about as far as you can get from orthadox and still be jewish)
And actually yes, Yakov Smirnoff is a real comedian...although your right..vodka does make everything funnier.
As to that, unless you're commenting thats jews are all destructive and love to blow holes in stuff with produce, then i think a further explanation would be in order =)feral_patriot wrote:you (zvallance1) realize of course what that means to the blood-line...right?
