Wood Turners Thread.

I recently got a wood lathe and thought it would be a good idea to make a thread on spudfiles for other wood turners to show off their work and or give advice to other wood turners.

These are few things that I would like to see on this thread.

Sharpening lathe tool technique.
Technique for carving.
Pictures of lathe work you have done.
What lathe you have.
Or just anything related to wood lathes.

Feel free to post any of these things.

Thanks 8ton.

Thanks. I always burn and break my tools when I sharpen them. :D
So the ws should be a good addition to my shop.

My wifes uncle is big into wood turning. Has one of these and swears by it...getting the correct grind the FIRST time EVERY time, greatly extends the life of his gouges. Saves money in the long run.
