Halo B or Q loader?

I have a red/black fade Spyder Pilot ACS '05. Everything is stock except for the clamping feedneck and 14" J&J Ceramic barrel. I have a Pure Energy 4500 psi 88ci HPA bottle, and the one thing I don't have is a good hopper.
I have enough for a Halo B, but I'm also considering a Q loader. Does anybody have a Halo B or Q loader, or just some advice as to which one I should buy?

Both are too much in my opinion, and overkill. A Ricochet Apache is less than half the cash, and still feeds over 20 bps. They aren't waterproof, unfortunately.

No way a apache feeds 20 bps... it might drop ball at 20 but it doesnt feed at 20...
IMO dont get the qloader... u dont need 30bps, and thats its only advantage... there expensive... imagine losing a $20 pod... ive lost a handful of pods... but there 2 bucks a smack...
i have also heard they jam and are the biggest paint to refill...
I recomend... a halo b, vlocity, or a pulse... the pulse being the best... BY FAR... if you get a halo b get a v35 board and ripdrive... there both worth it.
If you want to get into pros/cons of hoppers you can IM me at paintballplayax2... ive used every hopper system except qloaders and warpfeeds(i have just heard alot of bad stuff...)

If I do get a Halo, I won't need a victory board until I get a rocking trigger. Right now, my marker is only capable of 21 bps, and the Victory board bumps the hopper up to 35 bps. The rocking trigger will give me 30.

again... the hopper doesnt feed on gun what is rated for...
I recommend hte v35 either way... but if its not in the budget then dont get it.
you should look at the vlocity...
here check this out... it will give you a really good idea what you wanna look for

Thanks. You can upgrade a standard Halo B with a v35 board right? You don't have to buy it with one?

Kidding me? You don't need either. You'd be good with a Revvy. But if you must, get a Halo B. Q Loaders aren't worth shit.

Correct.

The rocking trigger is a gimic. It WILL NOT enable you to shoot any faster than before. And besides, NOBODY is capable of walking a trigger much beyond 20 BPS.

My friend has one and I can get about 28 bps on it. (not by walking it.)
I can do this really wierd thing with forearm and hand. I can make my hand vibrate so fast, It's a piece of cake to get up in the 25-35 bps range. By the way, I already ordered a black Halo B and a Dye Rhino tank cover (red and black of course
) By the way PVC, what kind of gun do you have?

You just made yourself seem like a complete idiot to anyone who knows a thing about paintball.
Lets look at stengths and weaknesses here people. Qloader is awesome, it reduces your profile greatly and can feed even if you are upside down. It is also mechanical, no electrics. Downside is it only holds 100 rounds at a time, so your super fast gun will eat the paint very quickly. Also, the rounds in the actual tube can only be fed into the marker if there is a pod forcing more paintballs into the marker, otherwize they are stuck in the tube.
HaloB is a very good hopper, exellent for speedball. A good speedball player won't be sticking his hopper out anyway, so profile isn't that important. It is also more than double the capacity of the qloader and will feed every last ball. Very good stand alone forcefeeder. Cheap second hand, easy to get replacement parts too. DON'T mess with agitators, you are only wasting your money.

Man, I really want a C3, that thing is awesome! Done lots of research. I want a C3 or a PGP2k pump pistol for my birthday. A 12gram filled with propane would last for a week of paintball, that is really neat. You just have to find a way to fill a 12gram with propane, small pvc chamber perhaps? *daydreams away about paintball*

Speaking of C-3s, Ive always been interested in those guns. One question though, does it smell bad when you shoot it?

How? That gun in the hands of a novice that gun needs nothing more than a Revvy. The average player, no matter how good, can rarely outshoot a the speed a Revvy feeds at. A Halo is good for serious ballers who lean and snapshoot a lot, where force feed is necessary. Other hoppers can't feed sideways. You want a Halo? Go for it... but it's overkill really.
Qloaders are a joke (in speedball.) They feed fast but have low capacity (100 rounds). You have to carry around several preloaded and wound pods. These things take time and are a pain to use in general. Why would anyone bother when a normal hopper get the job done just fine?
Do you see any pro teams use Q loaders? I didn't think so...

Only reason I got a Halo is cuz I don't want to have to buy a new loader when I move up to faster markers. My friend Dane's brother is sponored by DYE. The lucky bastart just got a free DM7!
I went to SplatBrother's two days ago and a guy let me shoot his Angel 1. I have never seen a nicer gun in my (short) life.
