JB Weld Is epoxy
JB weld or epoxy both work well
Not in melting terms, it bonds chemically(fusing?) i think.
JB weld the normal stuff is good with metal, ive used it up to 200psi on a metal gun before.

Proper epoxy will bond well with plastic assuming the surfaces have been correctly prepared, ie contact areas roughened with sandpaper and a file first, then blown free of dust and debris before gluing.bboymatty wrote:ive found epoxy aint great to use between metal and pvc. the bond created doesnt fuse them together, and it holds pretty poorly to the plastic, u can pretty much just peel the stuff off once it dries out.
I should know, I don't use threaded fittings in my creations, just epoxy
