Hey, I was wondering wat the rules in the U.S ar about spudguns.
In the netherlands it,s illigal :( My first gun was take off by the police :evil:

In the U.S. the ATF published a decision that spudguns are not considered firearms or dangerous weapons so long as they are used for reacreational purposes and are not fired at people, they do not fire dangerous objects (ie flaming tennis balls). So long as you stick to that it's cool, of course, state and local ordinances may vary.

Aroudn where I am, if I ever got pulle over with one in my truck, chances are the cop would ask me where I was going and ask me if he could shoot it a few times.

Oh, and I don't know about other states, but in Oklahoma where I'm from, I've been told it's a felony to shoot fireworks out of them.

As long as you use the spudgun in a responsible manner and out in the country away from houses the cops don't have to much of a problem with them. As long as you Don't shoot them at people or animals which should never happen any way (The golden Rule of Spudgunning) there are no problems. Spudguns are not regulated as a firearm as long as they are just relocating spud's, or not get caught using anything else, that is what I was told from my local cop. Which he actually liked when I showed him pictures of my cannon.

Oke, thanks :wink: In the netherland are the cops not zo easy :evil:
they make a problem from evrything. almost evrything is illigal here,
minibikes, real guns, airsoft guns, sport airguns, pyrotechnic and alot more.
I hate this country and it's ugly to :lol:

in michigan they are considered antique firearms (pnumatics too) and you can own and shoot them anywhere its legal to shoot a real firearm
