Here it is...

All Schedule 80 tank with a 1/2" barrel through the tank!

Charged it to 165psi today and it is absolutely ri-cock-culous.

I am using 1/2" wood dowel rod cut into 1-1/2" long pieces then wrapped with masking tape as ammo.

Water filled 1g milk jug had no chance. It literally exploded when I hit it.

Nice Gun! Butting the joints up together make it look so nice (I wish people would under stand that.) Just wondering, but did you shave out the middle of the top Tee's or how did you go about passing the barrel through chamber. On my sniper just shaved out the tee and passed the pipe all the way through, but I used the same daimeter pipe. Again Nice Gun!

The t's are 2", the barrel is 1/2". I used a 2">1" reducer and then 1">1/2" reducer in that at each end of the tank. I had to dremel the stops in the 1">1/2" reducer in order to slide the 1/2" barrel through them. This way the barrel is 1 piece straight through the upper part of the tank.

Butting the t's together and adding sch80 inside is the only way I feel safe at 120psi+. You are doubling the thickness of the PVC, and it looks really cool too. :)

Thanks for the comments... maybe I'll get some damage shots when the snow clears.

Swwweeetttt!!!Looks like something out of "Alien"
Does it breech load??
Looks like it could take ( Notice I didn't say NEED) a longer barrel...with a silencer maybe.
But that would be less "Alien"

The launcher reminds me of something that a Storm Trooper from Star Wars would have in his/her arsenal.

I used 2 couplers in the begining of the barrel (after the valve) which serve 2 purposes:

1. If the valve malfunctions I can replace it without destroying the launcher.
2. I can load the gun through the coupler section, although it is faster to muzzle load. I can upgrede that section later for breach loader/magazine since the couplers are there without destroying the launcher.

I found these couplers at Ace Hardware. They are a similer design as a V-Band exhaust clamp I use when fabricating custom exhausts and turbo headers. Good ole HD didn't have these.

The silencer is in the works!

I have some 304 stainless exhaust pipe 4", 3" and 2.5" which I am considering tigging together to make a mother of a combustion launcher. This is hard to justify spending my time on since my PVC cannons do the job fine. If anyone wants a stainless tig welded launcher I can make it with x-ray quality welds. I would need drawings with measurements before we could discuss price though.

He uses an electronically actuated sprinkler valve, and I think that those brass fittings are just a schrader and a safety pop off valve.
