Hi all, I am currently working on an airsoft cloud bbmg (just for fun) and i just wanted to know if it is safe to hook up regulated c02 to a blowgun, or would it freeze the blowgun and make it really cold.

Good question. I wouldn't think so, because it should have enough time to expand and heat up enough by the time it reaches the blowgun.

Using a Palmer's Pursuit Stabilizer (or any good CO2 regulator), you will have no problems. Set the regulator to the desired PSI and "let 'er rip."
Edited: Taking the fact that a regulator is man made, it is prone to disabling. Having this in mind, it is always best to make sure you have safety features, such as the pop-off valve, etc.

I don't see why it can't go anywhere on the chamber. I would, however, try to adapt some type of filter to it so that the airsoft pellets will not try to go in the valve. Having a pellet in this valve can be bad, because it may not allow the valve to open if it needs to and...well, you can figure out the rest.
If your cloud is going to have a push spring in it (forget what it's called) then behind it would probably be the best place.
