This is my gun that i just made. I was really bored and decided to make a piston gun. For the valve i used a type of barrel sealing valve i call a Slamma valve. Im not going to show you a diagram because people will copy me. For the chamber i used a custom spray painted c02 tank. and for the pilot i used a 1/4 ball valve.Feel free to ask any questions.

I will post vids and damage pics as soon as my camcorder charges up.
Also as far as power is concerned it will shoot a marble through an axe can at 50 psi. I cant wait to take it up to 100 psi.

I think its just a ball valve actuated pilot on a modified piston valve that a newb thinks is "new and revolutionary", possibly innovative but no one will know if he doesnt spill details. Nice paint job, but could be better/on the whole gun. Please give details.

Yeah, people wont believe crap here unless proof like a diagram of your work is present. That is what spudfiles does and dont bother posting without sharing ideas.

Thats pretty slack man. Til you share the design we shall count your cannon as a ball valve gun (well I will)

My bet is that if it is a piston valve, it's a verticle valve and the barrel port has an elbow inside the tee so the seat is facing up. If that is the case the flow wouldn't be great.

Umm yeah, saying that people will copy your idea is kinda mean. People wont say that "I made up this design, no one else did" They are just going to use it, saying that it was a slammer valve or what ever.
The point im making is that theres nothing wrong with other people using your ideas, but not claiming credit for it.

Yeah if people do end up using it they will refer to it as the 'Slammer Valve', which everyone will know you made.

What's wrong with that, don't you want to help advance Spudguns? What if PCGUY made you pay to view this site so he could make a profit of 'his' database.

Let's face it, without the help of others you wouldn't of built whatever you did, so you may as well give back.

Indeed, the sharing of ideas is the process that forwards us in the evolutionary chain of spuds.
So, why are you lying?
That's a ball valve gun.
Reasons?
You just arrived, and you're inventing new valves?
I see no pilot.
Not sure if you noticed, but there's a ball valve between the barrel and the chamber.

You could have had good comments about it just being a good looking ball valve cannon. But no, it has to be a piston gun using a 'Slamma Valve'.

We would want to copy you?

If you have made a side venting piston valve, I've got designs of such that are over a year old.

We even have a guy here (Solar) who's shared the operating details of his valve system in his machined aluminium semi-auto 40mm cannon which he's planning on selling.

So chill out and share.

Curious to know, what valve system did Solar use in the Eclipse? I never found out dispite many hours of searching...
