Yes, there was a big cannon that used a cylinder to actuate a ball valve that was quite powerful. I'll post the link if I can find it...

There was one posted on UKSGC a few years ago, this used a 2" BV as the main valve opened with a solenoid valve and a big air cylinder.

it was kind of crazy but it certainly worked and could've been really brutal with the 2" barrel he was planning.

(note: don't bother trying to post on UKSGC its totally dead, apart from, oddly enough, THUNDERLORD who appears to have been banned from spudfiles and is now posting to himself and waging a private war on spammers)

So I see. :?

Shame, he might have seemed a little rambling and eccentric at times but it was pretty harmless as far as I could see, maybe I don't have the full picture.
