I just made a spud gun (cannon) it was a bead seater. Now it is a cannon! it has a 75" long barrel 2" diameter made with schedule 80 ipex with a 2" butterfly valve and it packs a punch. The chamber is 12" in diameter and 12" long. I am new to this form so I hope this works and you like the spud gun. This one was easy to make and a blast to shoot!

The next thing I want to launch and video tape is glowsticks. It should look like tracer ammo.

Not bad, if you want better peformance you should try putting a burst disk between valve and barrel to compensate for the butterfly valve's relatively slow opening time.

Burst disk would be the ultimate valve where do you get them though? Like to break at 120psi would be sweet.

All you need is a union to hold it, maybe something like this.

I also find that camlok fittings work well too.
