Hey guys, I haven't been on here for a while! The other day I was designing a mini pneumatic around a syringe for a small size projectile like an airsoft or pellet.
How many PSI can you put in a standard syringe before it explodes?
I've attached a pic of my design drafted up in google docs.
Will it work? What are some ways to improve it?

Here's one I had made a long time ago, with the seal inverted and made into a toolies valve, not something you want to take beyond 50 psi though.

You can machine an acetal endcap, cut an o-ring groove then drill and tap some radial holes so you can attach it to the syringe tube with bolts.
... or you can use epoxy let's face it, if you're using syringe tubes then your resources are limited, therefore epoxy is your best friend

My first pneumatics were made with balsawood endcaps held together with this stuff:
