Details man, details! You can't just show us what your sock looks like and what your last meal was

fine fine :p. Ill edit this post in a bit containing details
EDIT:
Pictures!
Launcher works by using a co2 bike tire filler (trigger mech), which is hooked up to the female disconnect inside the body. The cartridge thing is primed by placing 2 pieces of shipping tape over each other, then forcing the coupler onto the pipe. The cartridge is then locked into the female disconnect, then the barrel portion is slid over the entire thing. Rocket is then barrel loaded, and it's ready to fire.
I chose this design over the more simple ball valve system because it's much more efficient. Off of one 12g co2 capsule i can shoot 3-5 rockets before needing to replace it. Eventually i want to hook it up to a HPA tank and run that, but I don't have the parts as of yet.
This launcher was also cobbled together in one day off of parts I had laying around in my garage, which is why it looks like something out of fallout.

Ah, much better!
Very nicely put together, good job! Do you have any idea at what pressure it fires, and what's the performance like?

I came in here expecting something from Fallout 3... Nice cannon though.
Ill take a stab and say the bursting pressure is anywhere between 40-60 psi. Firing the launcher at a 10 or 15 degree arch will send a football 100-ish feet. If i put a high arch on it, itll send it even further.jackssmirkingrevenge wrote:Ah, much better!

Surely a couple more layers of disk are in order, you can do better than that...Zorlord wrote:Ill take a stab and say the bursting pressure is anywhere between 40-60 psi.
