Thanks Jack, by the way, I know that you'r the expert in this hammer stuff, I don't want to make a new post so I will just put my question here (I hope its OK).
Is it possible to make semi auto with my previous configuration? simply using the air from the pilot area to push the hammer back or is it going to influence the performance in emptying the pilot chamber? I haven't try this since it is quiet difficult with the tools I have to make the hammer air tight and so I want to be sure before I make it. I can remodel my hammer lock so it can catch the hammer independently from any trigger position.
Sorry if there is someone has tried that, you can gently put the link if there is.

It should work well with a piston-hammervalve combo.
It's something I have wanted to try for a long time.

hi jack, that one is using hammer valve only, mine will use the piston valve for shooting and the wasted air from pilot to push back the hammer, so I can use this air freely without to worry loosing the shoot power. And for the bolt, I connected it to the trigger (I just need to pull the trigger longer until the ammo is out of the barrel).

I tried last night with a tigher hammer not fully air tight just almost like the valve piston, and it was only pushed back half the way.
I used 70psi (sorry that the max I could get for continous steady suply), but if anyhow I used higher psi, I will need between stronger spring, further travel distance or hevier hammer to open the valve and all that will add work to push it back.
Maybe I should also experimenting with the size of hammer face (right now it is the size of half inch pvc shc40 id). Should it be smaller or bigger?

Brian, please try it.

You should try a balanced valve as a pilot in the same way that BTB did it. This isn't being held shut by the pressure, so it doesn't need such a strong hammer.

thanks guys, I have been trying making that balance valve (for other type gun) but never succesfull with the tools I have and pvc, its so hard to find nice o-ring in local market here, I'm trying to avoid o-ring as posible at the moment. Anyhow that info is usefull somehow, I haven't tried to modified the valve itself.
OK, I'll try what I have in mind now.. I'll make a new post if its going well - don't want to hijack this post to much.
