Finally finished this project. Semi Auto piston valve paintball gun made from PVC. Some specs:
Air source: regulated 70 PSI 5 gallon air tank
Piston: Plastic tube with neoprene sealing face
Barrel: 3/4 inch CPVC pipe
Magazine: 13 round magazine with simple tab detents

This thing is sick! I'm assuming its just a QEV kinda deal here? Ill have to check out your previous post. Looks sweet though. Just extremely careful in the cold with the pvc pipes.

Thanks! Yep, just a QEV with regulator for multiple shots. I can get about 30-40 shots off at 65 PSI if I fill the tank to 100.

My piston valve is made out of a piece of plastic pipe, plugged with epoxy and with a rubber sealing face on the front. The plastic pipe was milled to fit just inside of the area it sits in. For an explanation on piston valves, see this thread:

So the regulator setup is that the gun works best at a certain pressure (in this case 70 PSI, any higher and the paintballs will explode). I can fill the air tank to a pressure higher than 70 PSI, say 100 psi, then use a regulator to give the gun only 70 PSI.
It is a gravity fed hopper with detents (small tabs that keep the paintball from rolling out the barrel until fired)
