Actually, I don't plan on painting it spudthug. I always try to avoid primer stains and such to keep my guns nice and clean looking. I guess I just like the "natural" look.

where is the psi gauge hole in relation to the diaphragm? seems like it might affect the valves integrity a little.... or are they super hard or something?

The pressure gauge is on the chamber side of the diaphragm. On this particular valve, the outer wall is about 1/4" of solid plastic so it's pretty sturdy.

BTW, I just ordered some plastic balls that fit the barrel to within 0.02" so I'll let you know what happens with those...

I like how it is really compact and nothing is really sticking out of it. Great job

Judging my all the comments about the sprinkler valve mod, I'm sure you'll be seeing some videos of new guns being built with sprinkler valves, and then you'll notice they have the same setup as you. It is so simple yet so perfect. I'm surprised that no one has thought of it before. Nice work.

This is the first i've seen of this gun, and i must give you Major Kudos :D
I'm in the process of making an aluminium gun like that except it won't have the cool valve setup.
Really nice work :P

Well, um.. Your Honour, the defendant HAS actually started his build, as a matter of fact you honour he completed just today the chamber, the argh.. endcap assembly complete with bumper and the 34mm piston with integral Polyurethane 40a duro sealing face. I your honour would suggest that my client has made an honest and most admirable start to this, his new toy of destruction.

Oh yeah and it's "gold plated", the chamber that is.

It's got just under a 60ml chamber volume and same barrel as before. Chamber is 85mm long. I have still to mod the piston, as to hole or the shock piston groove, The piston looks like the sabot i made except it is bigger and thicker (acetal) o'ring on the front only) Opion?
I can move the piston with my lungs, and it is 100 percent airtight.
