cool scott, can you explain your release system? I need to build one simlar so I can test my rockets and beat every one at school

look closely at the pictures .... you will see that....
A.
the pulley system for the rope.. you want to hook like a leash or something at the front where the rope makes a u between the two eye hooks
B.
you can see how it connects to the quick connect.. by the means of a hose clamp.. this way when you pull on the rope.. FIGURE A
you will put equal pressure on it.. making it pull down and release the rocket.

Well im also building a rocket atm. It has 2 engines and the same sort of release mech. BUT i do not understad why there is such a big chamber, its the rocket that has the water and pressure that launches it i thought?
Mines being made with pressure PVC 2" for the engines
 
have u got any ideas for parchute deployment menthods? or not having one?

yep I'm 13 well anyways the reason why I have a large rocket volume is that the more air and water you use the higher the rockets goes
