Lauren (revised) V2

I finally finished the new version of Lauren. This time around I used all pressure rated parts, and a piston valve (which will be piloted later by a sprinkler valve). I haven't got a chance just yet to fire it because of sealing problems with the piston. But, it has a 4' by 1 1/2' chamber, 2" piston valve porting to 1.5", with a 3"x3 1/2' barrel. BTW, I aired up Lauren V1 to 35 PSI, and got a golf ball about 200 or 300 yards. Hope you like!
(could someone tell me how to get my text centered? The tag won't work when I type it)

Sorry to dissapoint you but it's not all pressure rated parts. That reducer that goes to the barrel is dwv

i know that, but that really won't matter much because it isn't being pressurized.

Oh it is... trust me. Even more so when your ammo is a tight fit.
Just be careful.

Yeah, I thought about that. But it won't be pressurized very long plus I'll mainly be shooting my dad's beer cans with a wad of rag behind it. And I'm going to get a coupling for a 2" barrel soon too.

The 1.5" piston porting is on the very small size for a 3" barrel. Lemi do da math...
The piston has about 1/4 the flow of the barrel. It should work fairly nicely for a 2" though

Nice what are you using for a piston,
why doesn't it seal,
post some pics of the piston so we can help you debug and get this thing up to 125 psi

I only wanted the 3" barrel for small toilet rolls for Halloween!
spudgunnerwryyyyy: I'll post pics of it as soon as possible.

Yes, agreeing. Now Lauren looks stupendous. This is something you should be proud of. But, again, tell us why it won't seal and see if we can help.
