G'day guys,
This is the the gun I spoke about in my 8mm pistol page. It's the 8mm rifle. I only finished about an hour ago and only let off 2 shots because at 100psi, its that much louder then a .22 and the power of it just scared the shit out of me

. I'm still yet to add my silencer though so hopefully it will make a bit of difference. This is going to be my last gun because well....I really can't get any better then this. It's just a beautiful gun.
Everything is pretty self explanitory in the pics but give us a buzz if you need any info.

Thanks alot guys. I put the 2 valves in because im gonna mount my shocky on the chamber one and because the chamber on it is pretty big, i use my floor pump on the back and take it up the 160. i use my shocky afterwards.

Add a scope too it or something

or iron sights, and maybe some nice stock not just plain and boarind but yeah. Man i love that its so clean, and i get what you mean about the two fill valves.

I like the Schrader valve installation. That's the same thing I used on the stairstepper pump I made a while ago. So far, the one I made has held around 250 PSIG, so it's definitely solid.

Thats alot of pressure for a homemade pump. Well done. I'm making my own floor pump at the moment. Its a 3/4 chamber with a 1/2 plunger. Its hard finding an o-ring that fits nicely between the 2 of em though. All i can do is keep on looking for anything that works i guess haha.

Definately. I was told by Experament U2 to use your design for a silencer. I've been looking everywhere for it on here but I'm not having any luck. He was saying that your idea is one of the best you can use

I think he meant
this one - but note that it's only good if you're shooting projectiles which don't tumble, ie spherical projectiles like BB - otherwise the projectile will strike the baffles and you'll have no measure of accuracy at best, at worst it will destroy the silencer. If you need any help in adapting the design to the materials you have available let me know - for starters I recommend finding washers with a 10mm hole to give you enough clearance.

Thats a top idea mate. I take my hat off to you. For the silencer I was thinking of, I was just going to use 2 compression fittings and a piece of galvanised pipe with some cotten around the barrel. I don't know if it will work too well, though.

Ha ha, I have a 2500 cc silencer.
Nice work, I've never worked with coaxials much personally, because I like breech loading, but I'm no philistine, I can recognise a good one.
And when ever you say "This will be my last", it's never going to work - six months down the line, you'll see a plumbing fitting, or something that inspires a new idea that refuses to not be made.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

2500 cc's? Geez, that's pretty much huge. Mitchza, I love the gun man, wicked looking.

Haha thats exactly right mate. I can't really build much more after this one untill I move next year due to the loudness of my guns. At the new place, there is 70 acres of vacant bush next door so I'll make my 300psi copper marble gun then and go crazy

It'll be a under-over breach loading piston gun. I love the compact design of Coax guns but eh.... I miss shooting my homemade darts

.
Thanks alot for the comment Paaiyan
