I llike it, nice and simple
and counterstriker the longer the barrel he has the better performance he will get up to a certain point that is.
at 100psi a .2:1 ratio is optimum but completely unnesesary

It looks good so far, I think you should continue.

looks great. you shood turn the valve upside down and somehow incorporate a blowgun into the grip, cos as we all know, pneumatic actuation is much more efficient than electronically actuated valves. keep the barrel to ma minimum though, as Bigbob said, but mate this thing is a beast
. how were you thinking of puncturing the cartridge?

Thats pretty sick, you make me want to try this. flip the sprinkler over and have the blowgun in your handle go get rid of the bulky solenoid. Ask BDB about his breakbarrel.
wow, you did an amazing job with the stock.
Ill give it a 9/10. (could use a smaller caliber barrel and needs a paint job)
other than that, job well done!

It's normally closer to 800 psi, but 1200 isn't impossible.spud=fun wrote:If I'm not mistaken a 12 gram co2 cartridge runs at 1200 psi
As for the OP: Sweet so far mate - keep at it. I'm quite tempted to make something like that now, but I already have too many projects, so I'm going to have to resist as best I can.
Does that thing kinda look like a big cat to you?

Very cool! 8) I like it.
As you are planning to use it for airsoft, I would suggest keeping the barrel short (and muzzle velocity down).
A larger and less efficient chamber should also help increase the noise level.
Few things scream "Run for your life!" in quite the same way as staring into a big dark hole and hearing an ear shattering blast.
You were planning to use regulated co2 weren't you?

Yeah C02 will NEVER work unless you have a hose running to the gun, a reg simply cannot fit in there right, and unregged c02 and a sprinkler will not mix. just use air, it wonk take many pump sto get decent pressures.
