Hello everybody, that's my first post. I come from the french spudgun forum (so, sorry for my poor english) and I have already built some spudguns and pneumatics rifles including a semi auto BBs rifle which has been introduced few months ago on this forum.
Here is my last creation :
The M245 Pump action shotgun
Caracteristics :
Cannon: copper / gauge 12mm ; lenght 550mm
Chamber: Approximativley 25ml
Home made quick exhaust valve 3/4'
tubular magazine
pressure used : 12 bars
Air tank : 1 liter
Ammo : 12mm steel ball
Pictures
Inisde the wood :
The rod links the sliding part to the valve which fills the chamber for each shot.

Movie:
(the magazine was empty for the last shots of this vid)
sorry for the quality.

Wow. I really like this! Its true to the name indeed. I watched the video and it operates just as a shotgun should.
Amazing work.

That is F*cking Awsome. You should make a wooden frame to hold the pump, barrel, and mag, then paint it black, and you could make it look like a real shotgun!

After seeing the vid:
Damn its really impressive. It even looks pretty efficient. Do you have more figures? How does the loading port work?

thats very interesting. you load and fill with only 1 pump. i think you should refine the design and use co2, that way its portable.
"physics, gravity, and law enforcement are the only things that prevent me from operating at my full potential" - not sure, but i like the quote

Very nicely done! The video was good to watch. Here in America we call that a riot gun because of the pistol grip. Thanks for sharing your cannon.

Thanks for the commentaries.
To the several suggestions :
-Yes, I thought to put a wood piece to operate the system.
You mean like this one :

I think it could really improve its style.
I'll think about it...
-For the loading system, here is more picture and vids to understand how it works :

A spring pushes the balls on the left which go to the barrel with the inclined plane.
(the magazine is located on more on the left in normal use)

A zoom on the valve which fills the chamber for every action on the pump system.

For the grip, I was inspired by the SPAS-12 :

great job!
4/5 because of the wood

if you have got some kind of plastic for the grip it would have got top score

Very impressive, especially the way you combined the ammunition reloading motion with chamber filling. Shame that it (understandably) seems a little low on power, given the construction I think you can afford to up the pressure though, it could proabably take unregulated CO2

I like how simplistic everything works...
Really.. a ballbalve on a stick would never have come to my mind...
