SKC1 pneumatic copper sniper

Hi, I'm new here so I Thought I'd introduce myself with some of my work before bombarding people with questions. I put this together about a year ago so you won't see any state of the art cannonage here, but it's not a bad performing pneumatic, some people might have seen this before on UKSGC.
Gun stats
Chamber: 22mm copper
barrel: 1" thick walled aluminium
valve: 3/4" QEV
operating pressure :150psi
One of the more interesting features is the breach loader, I have managed to avoid the use of a pipe clip in here by using a thick walled barrel and threading the bolt directly into it.
the suppressor also works and probably took longer to built than the rest of the cannon put together, it can be screwed on and off of the barrel.
Finally, Ive been lurking around here long enough to know you guys like some damage pics, enjoy

nice gun !
up the pressure a little bit... it can take 300 psi without any problems

Thanks, I'm a fan of bullpups myself, ok this isn't a real pullpup but the stock is fairly useful, being half of my chamber.
Poland_spud, I agree, the only thing that might cause problems would be the crappy blowgun but that needs replacing anyway. Unfortunately I currently have no way of getting up to 300 psi.

Nice gun, and nice barrel extension. I say this because silencers are illegal, even if it is like yours on a spudgun. Even though it probably doesnt work, it is still ilegal, just warning you.

He's in the UK IIRC, so no, it's not illegal.
Edit: Oh and nice cannon. I remember seeing it on UKSGC awhile back, always have liked it.

I'm sure POLAND_SPUD will be more than happy to advise you on alternative uses for that fridge that you were going to throw out
Very nice launcher by the way, and the damage video was much appreciated (though one small point, your "pcl thermoplastic round" looks like it would be more at home fired through one of
these )
You really should look into higher pressures though.

It works a bit, hard to say objectively how much, If you listen to the vid the first couple of shots fired without the 'barrel extension' have a noticably different tone to the other shots. I suspect there's more of a difference down range.

Those damned strings didn't do anything anyway

I have a hankering to try a semi for my next pneumatic, so I'll be upgrading to CO2. This cannon was largely a test bed for different ammo, and I really like the saboted stuff, so any semi I make will have to be cartridge fed, should be interesting

I made something
along those lines, coupled with a QEV it should work very well

Kind of a moot point really, given the legal nature of the cannon it's bolted to.
To use a Clarksonism - it's like adding a splash of orange juice to a pint of gin. It's still going to make you very very drunk!
I'm pretty sure I commented on this on UKSGC - and I doubt there will be much I can add by commenting again, but nice cannon anyway!

just so everyone knows, in the US silerncers are illegal, even if it is mounted to a rubberband launcher.
Nice cannon, good job.
