I was looking on the internet today and i came across this. http://usb.brando.com.hk/usb-msn-missil ... 8d015.html
It is like a little nerf gun that you connect to your computer and can aim and shoot it with your mouse. There are three different versions. One is just the launcher, one is wireless, and one has a webcam. I thought I might buy one of these and mod it to shoot a lot harder. (and not necessarily still shoot nerf darts, although it could) Any ideas would be appreciated.

I think that's for web heads who own cats.
Got my nephew one of These for his sixth birthday.
Noticed one was broke when I got in the car, took it back, lady told me get another, she looked at that one and said it had been returned before too, got another and it works OK, but it's fidgetty to line up.
cool design though.
Thing is he always asks to shoot me, so i go well it's not good to shoot at people but Ok, ...Thing is he always aims for my head!
I feel bad for his younger brother so I'll probably get him one ofThese (It's like 18$ at walmart )
8)
BTW,Not sure if it's against the rules, but they make darts for blow-guns that fit a cap gun cap on the tip. maybe it could shoot those somehow(?)[/url]

Yeah i used to have blowgun darts like that. I think those darts aren't against the rules. Since they're used in cap guns that you hold in your hand the shouldn't be against the rules. The darts sound like a good idea to me. Thanks for the input.

Hey tech, That is one of THE DUMBEST inventions i have ever seen. BUT because of all the dumb people in this world, they will probably make some money off of it.

It is dumb right up to the the point you adapt it. Yeap. Currnetly planning out a nine tube, 2" barrel, 1" piston valve MLRS. I have two dc motors actually JVA Jandy Valve Actuators. These are used to open valves on pools.
Can we say computer controled launcher.

Power it from a battery, and no remote off-button.
But yeah, automatic target finding is way cooler. Especially if you would use it in paintball.

Yea it would be. Right to the point that it over shoots someone, they get mad. Walk over and kick it to oblivion.
I have been wanting to build a Paintball Armoured Vehicle. Been thinking of a M1 Abram design. A sprinkler valve for the main cannon, piston valve MLRS mounted in the ammo rack area.
I can use a GPS to Log major objective sites. Bases, citys, bunker complex, and open areas. Use the computer for control, and have a fire solution flow chart. Player calls in a MLRS strike on a target. Look at gps for direction and distance, refrence flow chart for the angle needed.
Fire away. Where I play a nerf rocket has a 15' radius, so nine should cover 90 sq foot.

Building a paintball tank is hard as hell, man. You might want to start by finding an old caterpilar at an auction and building your body around the track section, and you might think about leaving the rotating bits on there so you can have powered traverse.
Saw one on YT that one guy did, he made a scale Tiger I out of an old CAT track and a 3 cylinder deisel engine.

Yea I saw that one. Personally I like this one, a ground up build to what ever size you want.
I have some more body work to finish up on my camaro. But once i am done it will be main gun, then MLRS. Consturct the tank to fit the weapons.

@ssgnort, I'd really like to see a finished version of that launcher you mentioned!
@deathbyDWV, not sure why exactly, but I like something like This!
Imagine that thing stompin' onto the field! 8)
