Alright so i decided to post my cannon to get every off my back for being a noob. i just want to say i most defiantly am not a noob i have been an unofficial member of spud files for years now i just recently decided to register and get envolved,

So anyway the cannon, its nothing special just a coaxial piston cannon. its my third piston cannon but its the only left intact. the original idea came from the "mouse musket" I'm sorry but i can't remember who it was who made it but the credit is his for the concept.

*Technician1002 Thank you for your help, This community has taught me a lot over the years with out even knowing it. It is appreciated

Sorry i can't post any damage videos at the time it is much to cold to shoot a pvc cannon.

Specs.

Barel: .5" sch 40 pvc
Chamber: 1.25" sch 40 pvc
Piston: Epoxy cast w/ Rubber seal
Pilot: .5" Ball Valve
Length" About 6'

*Punch me in the face i can't figure out posting my pictures they are all around 3mb in size if anyone can explain how it would be appreciated

Alright i managed to compress a few so here it is

I almost forgot, for the people who think I'm some anonymous creeper, my real name is Jon I'm 17 and from colorado nice to meet you

+10 newbie points for a well executed epoxy piston, nicely done :)

Is the barrel provided with some sort of support to keep in centred in the chamber?

Thank you i tried a bunch of different pistons but this is the last one, its lasted about 2 years so far

I had more pix but most wouldn't compress, yes there are 3 screws holding the barrel centered.

You can ensmallen them with MS Paint, Resize or Stretch/Skew and reduce it to say 60-70%.

I run mac, i reduced a lot but some just won't drop under 400kb so ill have to lower the settings on my camera for further pics. hopeful it will warm up soon and i can post a video

Nice work, clean, simple, and the lack of primer stains is excellent, even I'm not that good.

If I were you I'd use a 3/4" barrel, but that's not a concern. And I'm glad to see people lurking before they join, it's refreshing. Just be careful when you post, don't kick old topics, and you'll do well.

Great to have you on board.

the first and second piston cannons i made had 3/4" barrels. Im not sure why i went with 1/2" this time it fits marbles and nerf darts fine but their is a noticeable power difference between the two. and fyi i don't know if you know this but 3/4" sch40 pvc fits rolls of pennies perfectly, great for putting holes in things

Eh. Have seen better and worse..at least you were able to figure it out without the usual mess of questions and duplicate threads...credit is due...and given.

Have been using this thing called photobucket for pictures of late....works a treat!

the thing i trying to get across is i am not noob. i have at least 45 cannons under my belt ranging from "pill bottle combustions" to the one i have here.

Hopefully my next venture will take me into the land of hybrids

Thank you for not making a point finding every flaw and point it out

Well done. When you think you have enough bumper, add more. The Mouse Musket broke 3 pistons.

For some reason bumpers have never been a problem for me. This piston has been taking 130 psi shots for about a year and a half now. Plus the piston has very little movement < 1/4". The spring is more or less to keep the piston seated.

P.s If any knows the who the creator of the mouse musket is i will gladly give credit
