Quick question,
Can I screw on a 1/4 Pressure gauge onto a tire vale? Or do I need to buy brass fittings to screw into a threaded pvc reducer to put on my cannon?

Not without an adapter.

Well shit.
I can just use a 1/4NPT Male gauge, screw into a 1/4 female to male/reducer to 1/2 double male into a 1/2pvc to 2' reducer?

Why put a gauge on your cannon anyway when most pumps and compressors have their own.

My bike pump doesn't and my compressor shop gauge attachment is inaccurate. Looks cool too on the cannon I think. It is also more convienent

I'm sure plenty of folks have tapped thick sections of PVC successfully to take a gauge. If you do it in an end cap then pour in some epoxy it should work fine.

I'm facing a similar issue, that solutions sounds do-able, saves me from having to find an adapter .

You'd be right! IF yall learn to use your tapered pipe tap that comes with every tap and die set with a bit of thread tape there'd be no need for epoxy.......

Wouldn't it be nice if they also included the appropriate tapered reamer?
