semi auto valve help

im going to build a cheapish semi auto pneumatic but im not sure what pilot valve will be the most "trigger like". ive looked at solenoids hooked up to a momentary switch but solenoids are sometimes a bit weak. i also have ruled out slide valves but i cant seem to find a mechanical spool valve that isnt overpriced.
please help. (sorry i am a bit of a noob!)

I have a mechanical 5/2 valve that was very inexpensive, about $10 from eBay, lever actuated so it'd be a comfortable trigger

they make nice triggers, specially if you add a trigger like attachment

Oh that's what I was going to do but I thought it would be different since the valve is 3 way. Thanks a ton anyway

Search for "3 way valve roller" on eBay and you will get loads of
results.
