I suck completely at tryng to make a piston valve con someboday help me by posting a diagram instructions or something ive looked all over and i cant fing anything very helpfull. I am making a galvanized steel "T" style cannon and i need help making a piston valve inside the t ventilated by a blogun/ballvalve. Thanks

Thanks, but i need to know what to use for a good seal (material) and if it HAS to be filled from behind the piston.

use neoprene has a really good seal

no it does not. If you use a spring, you can fill from the chamber. However, for simplicity's sake, as well as sealing issues, I would reccommend that you fill from behind it.

For a sealing face, I use 1/8" neoprene off of mcmaster.

oh yeah true forgot about that but it does have to exhaust from behind doesnt it?
