Here is a picture of the confetticannon we made at work this week. All part are rated 20 bar or more (the chamber is rated 250 bar), we are using 7 bar to fire confetti. All parts are 3/4'' copper pipes exept for the barrel wich is 2'' steel. It has a electrical solenoid vent.
The background is cm grid.
We have still not tryed with a potato.

The chamber looks like a CO2 tank. The weakest part on it seems to be the valve.
Very nice clean and compact construction.
Maybe the valve can be modded for pneumatic actuation.
A shame to waste such a cannon on confetti...

Looks mean! It would look even cooler with two barrels or two tanks or all at once, then it could spew confetti all over the place!

It is norwegian and stands for "The National Stage" witch is the second largest theater in Norway.
The bad thing is I won´t be allowed to fire projectiles with it, the good thing is I get payed to make it.
We won´t rebuild the valve into pnemeuatic action, as an electrical trigger is escensial on stage.

Anybody know what the threads are on a CO2 tank valve? Not the threads that screw into the gun, the threads on the valve that screws into the tank that they tell you is a no-no to undo?
Would make a safe chamber for a hybrid or something.
