Its a UNmodded rain bird cp-100 1" and I just got the gun put together and epoxied. Now when I pump the chamber it leaks like a bitch. I put pipe tape around the solinoid and put it back in and it is still leaking. I am realy pissed off waste money on a "high tech" valve when I could have gotten a regular ball valve at a quarter of the price.
Also that damn honking can I get rid of it. This gun was to be an airsoft sniper rifle. At this point would modding it make it stop leaking or is there another way, AM I ALONE is this crule world of sprinkler valves???
Would 2 part epoxy and hot glue fix the leaking problem, and to find the exact location of the leak can I partialy submearge the unit to find air bubbles. (Obviously not the batterys but the part I belive to be leaking ie around the solinoid)

Is modding the only way to get rid of leaks?? Will it help seal CO2 in better?? Right now co2 leaks really bad, and that was the premis of the gun to be operated on Co2

The best way I have found to find a leak is to use dishwashing liquid and water. Put a little on the joints and it will bubble if there's a leak. Well that is how to find a leak in your pipe, maybe someone else could tell how to fix it. I'm just not sure of the best way. Good Luck.

Is there a way to fix it from leaking CO2, it cant hold air that well and when I use my CO2 bike pump I got JUST FOR THIS project its a no go and kinda annoying. Not to mentin that when I use my bike pump I fill it ito 70 psi and it leaks over 30 psi in less than a minute. My ball valve doesn't leak at all. Damn "new age" stuff lol. Would it be better to put a ball valve between my chamber and my ball valve and use it as a "safty?"
