how hard is it to make a very simple pnematic?

ive been thinking alot about combustion but it seems pneumatic has certain advantages, im handy enough and have some tools, i know ill need to make a trip to home depot so how hard is it and what do i need. thanks.

A simple pneumatic is very easy, easier than a combistion(for me atleast).

It's cheaper also, because all the reducers from 3 or 4" pipe cost a lot. 4" fittings around here cost usually around 5 bucks or more. For a pneumatic, all you need is an end cap ($.50), pipe ($.50), a ball valve ($3), and a schrader valve ($2.50), if all the sizes are 1/2" PVC. Total cost for a basic, strong, marble gun: about $7.

even for a sprinkler valve gun with a 2" chamber/1.5" barrel is still cheap.

simplest pneumatics are pipe+valve+endcap with a schrader in it all with same size they are weak and ugly but cheap too
