Yes, 1.5" SDR 21 PVC. You sleeve it in 2" Sch 80 by putting the ends together and pushing. One goes inside!
If your hardware store doesn't stock it, buy it from BCArms or Pimpmann.

1.5" sdr 21 is the perfect size for golfballs. The sdr 21 class of pipe is also reffered to as class 200. It's the exact same stuff, just a different name.

Oh yeah, you won't find this stuff at a hardware store. Places like Ace, Lowes, or Home Depot have nothing in the way of plumbing. You need to go to a local plumbing store. I live here in cedar city where the whole county's population is 50,000 at best, probably less, but there still are 2, hear me 2, plumbing stores that will sell this stuff.

Oh yeah, third edit here, the stuff isn't that expensive either. I can buy it here at Southwest plumbing(my local plumbing store) for 50 cents a foot. The stuff is cheaper than sch 40. It really ain't that rare if you know what you're looking for.

If you can't find the sdr21 you can sleeve two pieces of 2" sch 40 to make the barrel. Its covered in the wiki and it works well.
