You can make a basic ball valve gun. 2 inch chamber, 1/2 inch barrel. Tire valve, guage...

You’re never too young to learn how to shoot! 11 or 8, it doesn’t matter, as long as you can hold the gun you should be taught how to safely use it. If you shoot it, then you know it’s not a toy, you treat it with the respect it deserves. If you’re never taught about guns, you’ll end up playing with one, that’s when someone gets hurt.
Don’t forget, a spud gun is still a gun.

Well, age has little to do with it, I wouldn’t trust my neighbor (he's 13 or 14) with a rubber band, let alone a spud gun. If you think she’s smart enough than give her her own gun.

Probably off topic, but discussing about 2" pressure chamber, what is the length recommended when using a 2" pressure chamber to launch a nerf rocket under 230fps? Keeping it under 30-60 psi.

I'm using a rain bird CP-100 sprinkler valve. I have one working with my other launcher, but that one has a 3" pressure chamber and its a over under design. The mod on the CP-100 valve was simple to do so I'm using it for my next launcher. This time I want to build the launcher in one length. Barrel in front, valve center, and at the back is the pressure chamber. All in 2" pvc. I also want to install a gauge, pressure relief valve, and schrader valve on the pressure chamber. My design will have the barrel shorter so I can bring the sprinkler valve forward arm length, so I can attach a air blowgun trigger to the sprinkler valve. Basically a bazooka design.
