This is a cool gun, mainly because it is so unique. I need to fix this thing up for this summer... everyone thinks it looks like the Proton Packs from Ghostbusters heh. Ryno is holding it for me in each picture.

I use a 2' piece of 4" for the chamber. 2 1" sprinkler valves give this gun its power. 1" PVC air hose connects the valves to the barrel attachment. I have tennis ball, pop bottle, and bouncy ball barrels for this cannon. Here's a look at the back of the cannon, and a closer look at the innards. I'm using a 1/4" ball valve to trigger the valves. Blowgun does not have enough flow to trigger both of the valves.

well well well, what to say about this cannon, hmmmm, how about USE LESS [EDITED] [EDITED] HOSES!!!!!!!!!! *clears throut* I think that if you used less hoses that had a smaler diameter then it would look a lot better, ever thought about shooting water with it????

wouldn't less hose constrict flow.

BUt i love the design, it is one of the most original pnuematics i have ever seen. I was thinking the same thing as killaa, have you ever tried to shoot water

No, only smaller hoses would constrict flow. Shorter hoses would help proformance, although it is hard to say by how much.

well it looks to me that the small hoses are used to fire the actual cannon, they are both hooked up to two sprinkler valves which trigger the cannon, then the compressed air that is stored in the large white pvc container in the middle of the pack is discharged into the two large blue hoses which seem to cometogether and come out of one single barrel.

fasinating design, how do you shoot water out of it , by just filling it,it wouldnt go down the tubes?still great high performance design Id put two air tanks on it thought so it could be fired twice .

yeh, somehow, i have never seen this cannon b4, and i love it, if this beast used water it would be a hell of a water pistol :)

OMG! You'll break your face if you ever get any recoil! :o
Bravo on conceptual design though - I love to see people trying new ideas. It's what gives the rest of us ideas. Cool dude!

Hey, what about using a sprinkler valve to dispurse gasoline or some other volitile substance into a pilot light? Then it can be done from a distance. I'm thinking this would be a cheap, but kick ass way of doing big fireballs. Damn, I need to try this.
