Steel or aluminium. The cylinder on my Daystate Mk.3 takes at least 230 bar (around 3,400 psi)

Pre-charged pneumatic -> an airgun that uses compressed gas from a reservoir to function, much like a pneumatic spudgun.

i see
so supposedly i could take a steel or aluminum pipe and make a chamber sort of like a pcp one and i should be able to at least take 1000 psi right?

thanks for the info

no you couldnt, the pipe would have to be rated to 1000psi which is commonly available

if ya get the right fitting and so forth yes you could use that much pressure(regulated) not many home-job valves hold up to that much abuse.

pcp tanks on hightech airguns are able to handle 250 bar ( 3600 psi ). I don't know your skill around pneumatics however if a homemade pcp tank explodes and a very little piece of shrapnel hit's you... It won't be nice.

a little shrapnel in the leg never hurt anyone  i think y0ur better 0ff using a empty c02 tank f0r pressures that high

don't see why you couldn't use one....but, at this stage of difficulty, you're better off buying a cheap PCP and modding it. you'll just ave to work on the hammer valve, and the barrel.

can i ask a question? are you using this as the main chamber or a resovoiur?
