Deus Ex Machina (deus ex mâchinâ) is a Latin phrase that when directly translated it means "god out of machine" the phrase is used to describe divine intervention of the gods or a supernatural change in fate
this is the name of my spud gun 8)
This is a very unique spud gun, while some of you may prefer some paddle gun or blow forward bolt gun over this, but with cartridges I have an advantage to shoot anything that fit ¾” pvc just like the good old pneumatics, rather than some gun that is for only a specific marble, paintballs, golf ball or other uniform ammo. Also just to let you know the chamber automatically repressurize thanks to my 3way diverting blowgun mod, I’ll write a How To on it later

EDIT: The How To has been posted here

What this brings to the table
First is a simple cartridge loading and ejection method during early production I made this video of the bolt action receiver, Image http://s30.photobucket.com/albums/c328/ ... &current=D SCF0890.flv please note that the bolt action works better than in the video after I adjusted it
Semi blow gun mod: an easy mod to make a blowgun divert flow 3ways http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/semi-blowgun-t6877.html

Image
heres an older image that I was saving
Image
another older image
Image
as you can see I made a duct tape speed loader similar to the shell holders on shotguns fabricated like a duct tap wallet
Image
here a picture with an extra large chamber attachment I made recently
Image
current setup for my small chamber it comes with this awesome shape that is really comfortable when shooting, and an adjustable comb, and a red dot sight/ scope, not to mention the modded blow gun cased in wood for a realistic pistol grip feel, and a pivoting connection for ether the big or small chammber

all the shots were done at relitivly low presures
the size and quality is really high, it took me a hell of a long time to save and upload this to photobucket so PLEASE tell me if it is too big

Okay when you guys are voting I want you to remember the unique/cool aspects of the gun
Primary
The first bolt action ejecting cartridges
The first blowgun modifying method for 3way diverting
Secondary
Scope, and bipod not that specail
I haven’t seen anyone use the stock design like mine, it should be more common it’s very comfortable, and interchangeable with a large chamber for high power

also tell me why you might not like the gun so I can at least improve for my next cannon

I like it a lot. You definitely need a How-To on the blowgun and the cartridge loader. The big drawback right now is it only fits 3 cartridges. I think I read in your other thread maybe that all you need is a different spring. I also think you should paint the handle black.

Other than that, excellent job. I'm looking forward to your next creation.

My next project is going to be a rifle for biathlon. If you don't now what that is, you shoot and cross-country ski. I'm going to make a bolt loader similar to this so I might need some advice.

Thats real nice.
That big magazine looks awful next to your small chamber but it must work great!
Man that would be fun to shoot.
Nice video too!

Thank you keep it real and frank, this is the advice and crtizims that I want to hear (seriously), right now 3 shots is enough to have fun cause I can reload the 3 shots quickly as well, but If I put the magazine upside down and take out the spring just by removing 2 screws I can probely get 8 or more shots on gravity feed, but then its imposible to aim

That gun is awesome! You should try making a shot shell with bbs, some time! That thing is really cool and I love the bolt action. Really good job!
