the "Victory" copper QEV rifle

The "Victory" is my first copper QEV rifle. It is breech loading (credit goes to hotwired for this) and it is capable of 200 psi. The Parker QEV is a diaphram one as you will see in the pictures below. There is also a safety made from a ball valve near the trigger. It shot good with some carrots I used for ammo, but I am not really sure how fast they went. I reckon they went pretty darn fast.

Specs:

barrel length: 28"

barrel pipe size: 1/2" copper

chamber length: 20"

chamber pipe size: 3/4" copper

valve: 1/2" Parker QEV

pilot valve: modified husky blowgun

safety: ball valve "

Sweet gun! I would suggest mounting the blowgun in a way so that it's like a real trigger, but other than that, it's pretty bADasS!

im not so sure that valve is rated to 200 psi... but it looks awesome as hell!! i love shiny copper... looks kind of like copperhead..only different valve and no grip with modded blowgun check valve and presta...ok its laot different but the top part kinda looks like it..

I tried mounting the blowgun like a real trigger, but it was uncomfortable to hold.

Very nice gun... The only thing I see as a potential performance issue is that you only have a C:B ratio of 1.61:1 which is somewhat marginal... But, hey, if it works that's all that matters...

How do i figure my chamber-barrel ratio?

you need to find the volume then compare the two. to find volume muliply the area by the legnth.

Did you bore out the tees to get the barrel and chamber through them?

if it's one that looks like this, do what I did, and cut the hook thingy off the back. it's much better.

yeah, just cut the hook/hand guard thing off the back.
oh, and unscrew the tip from the bottom

Sorry, no damage pics... I can't find any ammo besides carrots lol. I might post some once I get good ammo.
