I was wondering if it is possible to have a pump-action reload like a shotgun in a spudgun cos it will look VERY cool.So far on this websites I have onl seen bolt-action and break-off reloads.And also, can anybody tell me why a shogun slug'sabot does not fly out of the barrell after it is shot, and why must a spudgun's sabot shoot out with the ammo?

Help much appreciated.

and im sure with positive and creative thinking a pump action would be possible.

It all comes down to the ammo. It has to be able to work with the action of your launcher.

very simple to achieve the feed, the complicated bit is getting a semi-auto valve.

If it reseals quick enough, I suppose.

The sleeve is suposed to be connected to the pump right? how can ypu do that wothout blocking the barrell?

What do mean blocking the barrel?

The connecting rod has totouch the bottom of the sleeve to let the ammo in , right? if you place a bar to connect them you most likely have to place in in through the barrell.

Take apart a pump shotgun and study, all that i've seen have connecting rods are on the outside of the ammo tube, then slide into the receiver to work the gun. This is a sweat idea, i really like it!!!

why not just pt the pump on the barrel pipe. use a pipe with an ID slightly larger than that barrel's OD cut a hole near the back of it it to allow the to go through and put a spring behind it. i think it would make it simpler, unless of course your going for the authentic shotgun look.

Here is my idea for spherical ammo, specifically golf balls. One of the obvious design differences is no holes in the barrel itself. I don't know if it even effects the performance that much, but that is why I made a different design to confront it.

ROFL, gee what do you think sleeve means, well pump action is very easy just think

oh yeh the barel has to lock if its in a barrel bolt system, you have to use a (realistic) forward locking bolt that's separate from the barrel or else the barrel/bolt will fly forward/open
