yes, use pressure rated pvc parts.sthorne wrote:is there any way i could possibly make it a pneumatic?
making it a combustion is out of the question....so i guess what im asking is what is the safest way to modify this thing to make it pneumatic?
its all sch 40 pvc so......yes, use pressure rated pvc parts.
for one, i made sure i got NSF-PW sch 40 so i should be ok pressure rating wise.there isnt a way its all dwv even the pipe itself not just the fittings figure out how to safely make a pneumatic (not that hard with ten minutes of research) and start again.
im not arguing any more about the fact that its sch 40...because it is!those are dwv tee fittings I highly doubt its sch 40.
i did say they were nsf-pw, but i just checked and they say d...w...v.Yeah, most (if not all) of the fittings are DWV, which means they aren't pressure rated. They may be sch. 40, but that doesn't mean that they are pressure rated. You are fine to use it as a combustion, but if you want to make it a pneumatic you will need to use pressure rated fittings. (fittings that say NSF-PW, NOT NSF-DWV)
