New Gen Combustion

Most because of boredom while waiting on my hybrid pieces to arrive, I have decided to start a new generation of combustion guns only made of doc tape, tyrap (and in this case a copper barrel, ran out of doc tape).
Powered by axe.

So for the Ductape cannon, I have setup'd PROS and CONS of it:

PROS:
Cheap
Easy to do
Fun

CONS:
Not powerful.
Can melt (ever seen doctape melting? Pretty fun).
Can burn.
Squishy.


I did 2 prototype today, for the 1st one I had not this idea of completely doctape and took a tomato plastic (bucket?) wrapped it up in doctape, and lit it up. Was not effective at all due to multiple leaks.

The second is more... doctape made. It shot 2 feet, but it is only and only a poor prototype, and will get better soon as I find a piezo ignition and 10 doctape (rolls?). My next one will use tyraps inside as well to make a structure to prevent the chamber from getting modified.

an interesting (at best) development. Maybe after a few more shots the tape will melt together and seal the chamber completely.

I would call this more of a ghetto mini rather than a new gen combustion. reading the title i thought you were talking about some new and improved fuel system or ignition system or something for combustions... huh well can't win em all.

Duct tape is quite expensive if you ask me. Yesterday I bought a new roll of it for freaking 8 euros.

But hey, nice idea and a truly ghetto accomplishment. I like your creativity.

Maybe, but for a roll you can do much more pipe then with 8eu of pipe.

Reminds me of the trend in "New Generation" of cars.

Atleast in your post you call it "him" instead of "her".

The obvious reply "your weak point is not the barrel but the duct tape"

If you could get any power out of it that would be interesting.
Because a POW could build one to maybe escape or something. 8)
